"My Father's Gaze: The True Story of My Life 6"

Every time I moved, I moved a lot of albums in cardboard boxes and let them sleep in the closet.
I like taking and looking at photos, but every time I moved, I thought I didn't have enough space to put them.
About a month ago, I suddenly wanted to organize my albums, so I took them all out of the cardboard boxes and lined them up on a bookshelf.
If you include photos that aren't in albums or haven't been developed, the number will probably be more than double this (^▽^; lol)
The old album on the bottom left contains photos from when I was born until I started living alone.
It was destroyed by fire, but luckily the album miraculously survived.
In particular, the only photos I have from when I was a junior high school student, between the ages of 12 and 15, after the fire, are group photos from school trips, and there are no photos of my family.
It's a shame that I can't see me with a shaved head (lol)
These days, I save them as data on my smartphone, but I still like to develop each photo one by one and look at them in an album.
Before I got married, I had a camera, but I didn't take many pictures, so I don't have many.
Of course, after I got married, had a partner, and had a child, I started taking pictures almost every day.
I definitely enjoy taking pictures more than being photographed.
I like taking pictures of people's natural poses and expressions, not landscapes or animals.
I think the reason why I like taking pictures so much is because of my father's influence (DNA).
My father always had a camera next to him.
Because of his job (architect), I think he often took pictures of buildings and the land at the construction site.
He also had an 8mm camera, which was still rare when I was a child, and he took a lot of videos.
My father also liked taking pictures of people, so most of his photos are of his family rather than landscapes.
I have a lot of photos from my childhood, but when I was shown my brother's album, who is four years older than me, I thought it was great and I was jealous because there were twice as many (I guess that's common for second sons and daughters lol).
Because of this, I took about the same number of photos of my two children when they were little.
When I was looking through my childhood photo album, I thought that there were only snapshots of me playing alone or with my mother and brother, and there were hardly any photos with my father, so I felt a little lonely because I didn't play with my father.
But
Because
It's my father who is holding the camera and taking the pictures, so it's natural that he's not in the photos (lol)
But
He was always with us.
He watched over us with a gentle gaze through the camera lens.
I can feel my father's smile and sense of security from the expressions of my mother, brother, and me with carefree smiles.
I was able to relax because I felt my father's warm gaze.
I felt the warmth of my father again when I got married and had children and grew up together with him.
Thank you
My father's love
Just a few of the photos my father took
Precious shots of my father and me
I hope this will give you some insight or hints.
Thank you for reading to the end.
I would be happy if you read this too ????
