On the second morning, I succeeded in surprising him with a surprise gift after the gym ????

We had brunch at the pool and lounged there from mid-morning until almost 4 o'clock, which was our goal for this trip - relaxation.

We drank, ate, and when it got too hot, we cooled off in the pool, and repeated the process ????

It was great to be able to take a nap ????

We had a reservation at LG, one of the usual steakhouses in Palm Springs, for an early evening at 7 o'clock, so after taking a shower and getting clean, we walked to the restaurant 3 or 4 blocks away.

For appetizers, we had shrimp cocktail yesterday, so today it was calamari ????

I had filet. Paired with truffle butter.

He celebrated on the NY Strip.

I paid for this too, but it was cheaper than Vegas, and it was pretty reasonable even for him to drink 3 glasses of scotch!
